It was created by a student-geek from the Philippines named Onel de Guzman . He was taking an IT-related course and was expelled from school, although the school somewhat gained popularity for that. He was not imprisoned, because there was no IT-related law in the Philippines. instead he was sent to some social welfare institution.
He had an australian accomplice when he let out the virus. it reached as far as the white house and the pentagon.

The second oldest Philippine printing press next to Manila can be found in Pila, Laguna. The first book it printed was named Vocabulario Delengua Tagala. It is the Philippines’ first Filipino-Spanish dictionary which was printed using movable type in 1613. Vocabulario Delengua Tagala is the Philippines’ oldest dictionary. The book was written and compiled by Fray Pedro de San Buenaventura and printed by Tomas Pinpin, the Prince of Filipino printers.
